2011 is over. 2012 is the year of the dragon!

I was gonna do a nice review of 2011 and look ahead with positive thoughts, but I got a “present” on my doorstep today, and a phonecall to go with it, which is why I’m going to face the new year with a stomach ache and pure dread.

I officially finished my finals today. And among the three best of the year as well ♥ I’m happy, but a little bugged that I probably won’t beat my friend, whose initial marks were a little better 8D Aah, friendly rivalry is such a nice thing.

I can’t focus on anything today. After sitting around staring into empty space, I doodled this in photoshop, orz. It was…interesting. |D I should do more figure drawing.

I totally made an animation. I has eight frames at a framerate of 12 fps.

My scanner is the crappiest thing since crap. Took me maybe 20 minutes to draw this and 45 minutes to clean the scan >=< Drawn with a .5cm mechanical pencil. In case you’ve ever wondered — my traditional drawings and my digital ones look practically the same >=>

Tried a new technique of lineart + hair cg. It turned out okay, bu not quite as I hoped x,D I’m still deciding if I should develop my method further or just toss it and try something completely different. I really want to learn how to do “Eroge-Style” CG, but my stuff always ends up smudgy instead of squeaky-clean >=<

The coloring on this is inspired by Dousoukai Refrain, an Eroge by F&C. Messy sky is messy because I’m lazy as hell! >=> -SHOT-
